This costs $25 and the fee entitles you for three exams of any type within a year's time and this includes both the instruction permit and the driver license. If all the requirements are not met within the 12-month period, the application gets void and all steps must be re- completed.
If your application expires before you have held your provisional instruction permit for six months, you must return to DMV and re start the process with a new application.
